On this page, I publish examples of materials that use visible connections. If you create something interesting, put it on your own website and send me the link—I'll add it here.

Resources on this website

1. Napoleon with maps
   A Wikipedia article about Napoleon, connected to maps. As you read, almost every place mentioned appears directly on a map.
2. Herodotus with maps and footnotes (Volume 1)
   A book I downloaded from Project Gutenberg. I placed the footnotes into a separate document and added maps to make navigation easier.
3. Famous Men of the Middle Ages.
   Another book from Project Gutenberg. I placed the table of contents in a separate document.
4. Examples of documents with visible connections
   An older list of documents showing different ways visible connections can work. Some are unfinished and not especially useful on their own, but they’re good as demonstrations.

There will be two lists: list of resources and list of websites.

This project isn’t just about me posting interesting documents. It’s about upgrading the World Wide Web. So we need to show that visible connections and Reader's Web document formats in general are used on many different websites.
